Description
Hi everyone,
This is genuinely one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. It’s always been me and blanco but I’m going into university in October, and after two years of being Blanco’s sole carer, I’ve made the heartbreaking decision that I can no longer give him the time and stability he deserves.
Blanco is a 2-year-old white fluffy Maltese/Bichon mix – sweet, gentle, and full of love. He’s house and potty trained (he hasn’t had an accident since 8 months old thanks to our consistent routine), and he’s used to a calm, indoor lifestyle. I often work from home so he’s very settled and quiet indoors, but also playful and silly when it’s time for games or walks. Blanco attends boarding/daycare so he is socialised.
He loves children, is very gentle with people, and would thrive in a home with a garden or access to green space. He eats wet/dry food, enjoys his walks (we usually do 2–3 45 mins walks daily), and adores being around people he’s truly a companion dog. I just want him to go to a loving home where he’ll be safe, happy, and loved. An older couple, a family, or someone who works remotely would be ideal. I’ll happily share all his routine info, favourite treats, toys, and anything else to make the transition easier for both of you.
There’s a small rehoming fee just to ensure Blanco goes to a committed, loving home. But this can be waived or reduced for the right person.
Please reach out if you think you might be the right home for him, or even if you’d consider temporary adoption to see how you get on.
Thank you so much for reading
