4 male and 1 female Pygmy Hedgehogs ready to reserve now - they’ll be ready from 13th August when they’re 8 weeks old - now taking deposits.
These are lovely little hedgehogs and are being handled daily so they’re used to being picked up, the new owners must have a suitable setup - preferably a 4ft vivarium as a minimum or a plastic sided cage of a similar size (no bars as hedgehogs are good climbers and can climb, get stuck and really hurt themselves). They’ll also need a large running wheel to be able to fit in their enclosure for exercise as they can cover miles and miles every night.
They’re just starting to wean onto proper food alongside their mums milk and are currently starting to have crushed up/powdered chicken Kitten biscuits, scrambled egg (no milk) and crumbled up tiny pieces of cooked chicken and beef mince meat. In the next couple of weeks they’ll start experimenting with some small bugs too.
It’s £30 to reserve the hedgehog of your choice with the rest payable in cash on collection (or just before pickup if you need a pet courier). We’re in Nottingham if you’re able to collect or we’re happy to use High Flyers pet courier if you’re too far away - they charge approximately £65 (slightly more for Aberdeen and Inverness) and they pick up on a Wednesday and drop off on Thursdays.
