Floyd is around 18 months old. He has the gentlest personality and loves to be adored.... on his terms. He seeks out human company and is very affectionate. Likes to be petted and hang out with you on the sofa but he is not a lap cat... yet. He has been known for jumping on his male foster parent's chest for some biscuit making and purrs. And he usually sleeps on the foot of the foster humans bed.
We don't know much about his history, only that his was chipped abroad. But he must have been a loved cat and well socialised. He never uses his claws and, once he is settled, he is a very confident cat. He will tolerate being picked up but doesn't particularly like it.
Floyd has a very curious and cheeky character. He likes to explore and be around you to see what you are up to. And he loves to play! His foster humans keep him entertained with the wand toy where he showcases some of his acrobatic movements. And he loves to play "hide and pounce" games.
He would do great in a home that has time for him and where he can safely explore the outdoors, to chase butterflies and climb trees.
We have not tested him with other cats yet, but based on his gentle and confident personality we think he might be good, and maybe even better off with a feline friend. But this will need a slow introduction process which we can walk you through and support with.
Floyd is at the Putney foster home where you can meet or collect him or him can be reserved today. I have amazing volunteers that can often drive a cat to my home in hook hampshire if they've been reserved and its easier for the new home to collect location wise,
