We are looking for a new home for our Lola. She is a one year old husky x German shepherd cross with beautiful blue eyes, a truly stunning dog!! We originally got her as our German shepherd is getting old and we needed a younger play mate for our Belgian malinois who is highly energetic and needed a friend that could keep up! Unfortunately Lola’s stubborn husky traits have made her incredibly hard to train, her recall is as and when she chooses and due to our home set up she is often escaping the garden when out for the toilet which now poses a risk to her safety and so we are in the unfortunate position of having to rehome Lola. She has been in an environment with two larger dogs who she loves to play with, and a toddler who she also loves to play with! Lola is very nervous at first (will often keep her distance and be wary of new people/situations) but once she warms up she is such a lovely affectionate dog!
Lola is fine in a home with other dogs and children but the main thing is needing a home with a very secure garden, she has bags of energy and love to give.
Lola is crate trained but when given space to roam overnight she will often go to the toilet on the floor so we have stuck to the crate!
Vaccinations are due October 2025, we thought it best for her new owner to do these as a chance to get her registered with a vet of their choice and have her checked over for themselves!
