Description
Due to ongoing compatibility issues with our existing rabbit, we’ve made the difficult decision to rehome our lops, Kaya and zuko. They are around 2 years old and not suitable for first-time rabbit owners. We are prioritizing experienced homes only who understand rabbit body language, behaviour dynamics, and the responsibilities of long-term care.
Key Details:
• Breed: Dwarf Lop
• Age: 2 years both
• Status: Unspayed (but a free spaying voucher will be included in her rehoming from pets at home). Male is neutered already.
• Vaccinations: are up to date but come with a free vaccination voucher that must be used within the next few weeks for both at pets at home.
• Diet: will come with a small supply of her current food to help with dietary transition
• Temperament: FEMALE: Bossy, confident, and spirited. Not aggressive but can be assertive and territorial. She is not suited to timid or submissive rabbits unless well-managed. MALE: docile, friendly temperament, tolerates handling, more easy-going.
• Bonding Status: Originally adopted a few weeks ago as part of a bonded pair. Come together.
They need plenty of space, stimulation, and ideally a home where they can have her own area, especially until female is spayed. Female is not cuddly or passive, but has personality and potential in the right hands. She is a character as has made us laugh a lot to her tantrums and throwing her toys around so the way she nudges you out the way if you are in her way. So she will bring a lot of laughs to a household that understands they aren't getting a cuddly rabbit you can pet everyday, but you will get an independent rabbit who entertains and can offer company. The two are very cute together and lick each other and lay with each other often.
This is a regretful rehoming. However they need a home that’s more experienced than me.
📍 Located in Nuneaton
💰 Rehoming fee: £80 for both (to ensure serious inquiries only and as spaying is included which is usually £80-120 and male is already neutered. Would reduce to the right home)
