Description

❤️🐶 ZAYKA – STILL WAITING… QUIETLY HOPING SOMEONE WILL FINALLY SEE HER 🐶❤️ 📍 Currently located: Birmingham B29 🌟 RBU, post-adoption support & 4 weeks free insurance provided upon adoption (on request) 🌟 💔 Some dogs wait loudly. Zayka waits silently. She has already spent months in foster care… quietly unnoticed, quietly hoping her family will come. And honestly? It breaks our hearts a little, because she is such a lovely young dog. Not dramatic. Not demanding. Just soft, sensitive and trying her best in a world that still feels a bit too big and overwhelming for her. She absolutely adores and trusts her humans. She cuddles, plays, follows her foster lovingly and has made beautiful progress. But there is still one important missing piece for her happiness — another friendly young dog. Not just as company. As her emotional support. Her teacher. Her guide who speaks the same language she does. Only another kind, balanced dog can give her that last bit of confidence and security she still lacks. 🐾 Meet Zayka Zayka is around 14 months old, lower-medium in size, with a gentle heart and playful young spirit. Once she feels safe, she becomes deeply affectionate and devoted. ✨ Highlights ✨ • SIZE: Lower-medium (around 53 cm/18 kg) • SPAYED: Yes • CHARACTER: Sweet • Gentle • Sensitive • Playful • Affectionate • DOGS: NEEDS friendly young playful dog companion • CATS: Can chase for fun • CHILDREN: Best with calm older children 8+ 💔 Rescue Story Zayka was rescued as a tiny puppy from a war zone together with her mum and 8 siblings. While one by one her siblings found homes, Zayka (and unfortunately her brother Bruno) somehow remained overlooked. She travelled to the UK in February full of hope, but sadly her first placement didn’t work out due to mismatch with the resident dog, who simply didn’t accepted her. Since then, she has been waiting again… patiently and quietly. 🐾 More About Zayka Zayka is one of those dogs who slowly and gently steals your heart. She takes a little time to fully relax, but once she trusts you, she is incredibly loving and sweet. She enjoys cuddles, playtime and simply being close to her people. Her foster says: “She’s doing great in the park. She still won’t go on walks directly from the house long the road, but she walks to and gets into the car on her own and we drive to quiet places. She’s okay off lead in the park and comes straight back when called.” That perfectly sums up where Zayka is emotionally — she still finds the “big world” overwhelming, but in calmer, open environments she relaxes beautifully and shows what a lovely dog she truly is. She is not suited for a busy urban or city environment with traffic, roads full of cars, bicycles, noise and constant stimulation. She simply wasn’t raised for that kind of life and still finds it too overwhelming. Her ideal home would be somewhere greener and quieter — rural or semi-rural, with nature nearby, peaceful walks and less pressure around her while she continues building confidence. She has always lived around other dogs and absolutely blossoms with canine companionship. We genuinely believe she desperately needs another friendly, playful dog in the home — ideally young, balanced and confident enough to help guide her through life. A dog companion would not just make her happier… it would completely change her confidence and quality of life. 🏡 Ideal Home Zayka needs a calm, loving home with a secure garden and another friendly dog waiting for her. A quieter environment away from city chaos would help her continue building confidence at her own pace. Rural or semi-rural home with greenery close by would be absolutely ideal for her. She needs patient people who understand sensitive young dogs and won’t rush or pressure her, but instead allow her to slowly feel safe and bloom naturally. ❤️ Zayka does not need perfection. She just needs love, patience… and another dog to show her the world is safe. And once she truly blossoms, she will become the most loving, loyal and rewarding little companion imaginable. ❤️ 🩺 Health Information Zayka is healthy, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (owners receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
