🐶 Cornishon is a 11-month-old small/smallish medium boy with old-soul eyes and the sweetest nature. He’s relaxed, intelligent, eager to learn, and full of love for his humans – but he now needs a home that understands him, gives him structure, and allows him to grow into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be.

💔 Rescue Story
Cornishon’s journey began in war-torn Kupiansk, Kharkiv region. As a tiny puppy, he wandered the freezing streets alone until kind volunteers rescued him. He grew up in a rural foster home where life was quiet and safe.
He’s been with a kind family for two months, but despite their efforts, it has become clear that his environment isn’t the right fit for him. They have made the sad decision to rehome him for his own happiness.
🐶 Why He Needs a New Home
Cornishon’s current family explains:
"He’s a relaxed, happy, healthy dog with so much love to give. But he needs a home that can meet his needs. He adores cats too much – he wants to play with them constantly, and our cats are distressed. He’s also shown some fear-based behaviours around unknown dogs and people, including nipping once when a toy was taken from beside him. We’ve worked with him and seen progress, but we believe he’d do better in a quieter, more experienced home where he won’t be pushed too fast and can feel truly safe."
Cornishon has not been aggressive; his reactions come from fear and inexperience. With proper guidance, patience, and structure, his sweet and gentle nature will continue to flourish.

Cornishon is a sweet, affectionate pup who loves his people deeply. He’s relaxed in the home, house-trained, and very responsive to training. His family describes him as:

Cornishon is loving, clever, and eager to please. He’s housetrained, very affectionate with his people, and responds well to training. He’s sensitive and needs a calm, structured environment to help him build confidence and feel secure.
He enjoys the company of calm dogs but would also be happy as the only pet. He’s playful, sweet, and incredibly loyal – a dog who, in the right hands, will become a truly exceptional companion.

• An experienced adopter who can continue his training and help him gain confidence without pushing him into new too fast.
• No cats – his love for them is non-doubts, but can be too much for timid, not dogs-savvy cats

• A quiet location, away from overwhelming urban life
• A secure garden for safe play
He’s incredibly loving, wants to be close to his people, and will flourish in the right environment.
