Parents - are fully health tested including hip and elbows with excellent scores. These can be viewed upon your visit to our home.
All puppies will be wormed 2,4,6 and 8 weeks, health tested by our vet, vaccinated and microchipped before going home. For puppies staying longer they will receive 2nd vaccinations and flea and worm treatment. Puppies cannot have flea treatment prior to 12 weeks of age.
I ween our puppies on Origen puppy food. They will come home with a weeks supply, collar and lead, scented blankets, puppy pads, toy, vaccine card/ microchip card, information pack either printed or added to the whatapp group. The group will remain up and running so everyone on it can chat long after puppies go home. Long term support.
We encourage visiting to our home, I enjoy meeting our puppy parents and throughly enjoy our individuals and families choosing their puppies. Choosing, is conducted in list order, at a time to suit yourselves - where possible, under strict criteria, eg clean clothes not been worn near other animals, shoe removal / thorough hand washing prior to handling puppies from 4 weeks of age. You may also re visit at 6 weeks , then again at or from 8 weeks of age when puppies can go home. I trialed this above method on my last litter and I found it was most definitely a positive experience for the socialisation of our puppies, therefore we will continue. previously I offered one visit to choose at 6 weeks then to go home. Our puppy parents also throughly enjoyed a more engaging experience. If you are unable to carry out a second visit prior to pick up, I offer a FaceTime or skpe call.
If going home dates are not conducive to your plans I am able to keep puppies longer, it is important to find the right people/homes - therefore we will keep puppies up until 12 weeks old, giving some leeway to puppy parents.
