Stanley is the best stud around if you are looking for a truly tiny and confident experienced chap. He is well-proven with 100% record and beautiful healthy litters. Of course, Stanley is KC registered with lots of champion lines, PRA cord clear, and he has no dapple, dilute, Isabella etc in his genes.

We can have worked equally well with breeders who are planning their litters well in advance and with those who are looking for a last minute top quality stud. Just call Ian for a chat.
He is the best in the area and is now seeing return visits from girls who had their first litters with him the previous year. Stanley has 100% success with all types of mini girls: maidens, timid girls, giddy girls, and experienced mums. Although tiny, Stanley is also able to work with much larger girls (e.g. standard/tweenie dachshunds) using his little step and rug - this might be of interest if you are looking to breed a litter of littler pups.
Visitors are always surprised by just how small he is - often commenting that their girl was the smallest they'd previously seen. The photo of Stanley with the loaf of bread was a suggestion from a visitor who felt this would give a good point of comparison that you can relate to - so we can confirm his body is the height and length of a sliced white loaf. Being a tiny 4Kg, Stanley is the perfect tiny size and temperament if your little lady is tiny or first time. Expect to meet a very petite charming stud! He is very gentle but also persistent!
You can expect a really open and honest service, so please just get in touch if you have any questions - for example you might want to know what colours to expect by mating your particular girl with Stanley; we have the experience and photos to have a pretty good guess!
Stanley is one of our two mini dachshund boys and a much-loved family pet. He is full of cheeky character, he completely adored by our children and his big dog brother Pedro. He loves playing chase and fetching the ball. He has an excellent temperament and is very gentle and respectful with his lady friends but he is also set in his ways with a favourite technique, very persistent, and definitely gets the job done.
We have found it helpful if you are fairly local to bring your dog for a visit and a brew before she is ready so she can meet Stanley and get to know our house; this makes the first mating much quicker and easy for your girl.
The fee is £300 for two natural ties (or if you’d prefer to arrange for A.I at our local clinic) - each girl is different but - we suggest over days 10-12 of her season (days 9-14 has also works). I will run the Kennel Club coefficiency test for KC females to check they are a good healthy match. Along with 2 natural ties you will get a copy of Stanley's 5 generation KC certificate with the champion lines highlighted.
He is true to type and breed miniature beautiful pure chocolate and tan boy - no white patches on chest. He is fully up to date with vaccinations, boosters, flea and wormer treatments.
