Jasper is a beautiful one-year-old working line Cocker Spaniel. He is KC registered, DNA tested, and chocolate and tan in colour. He is a happy, affectionate, and highly social boy who loves being part of family life.
He has grown up around children and is excellent with them; my youngest is 3 and my eldest is 8. He is also very friendly with other dogs. Jasper enjoys company and thrives on interaction.
Jasper is trained off-lead with excellent recall. He does pull on the lead, however this is well managed with a Halti, which he responds to very well. He is crate trained and settles nicely, and he is very comfortable travelling in the car, having been on many longer journeys and outdoor adventures.
As a working line spaniel, Jasper has lots of energy, but he is also able to regulate himself and enjoys calm downtime once his needs are met. He would be best suited to an active home, ideally with someone familiar with working cockers or who has the time, experience, and lifestyle to meet his physical and mental needs.
This is a very reluctant decision, but due to a change in my circumstances, I no longer have the time required to fully meet Jasper’s needs. Finding the right home for him is my absolute priority, where he can continue to thrive and receive the time, stimulation, and attention he deserves.
