Luna – Left to Freeze, But Still Held On
She was just a baby—skinny, shaking, and all alone in the snow.
Luna, a miniature German Shepherd weighing only 8kg, was found curled up on the side of a remote Belarusian road. It was winter. Bitter cold. Thick snow blanketed the ground, and the wind howled through the empty fields. She had no food, no shelter, and no one.
She had been thrown away like trash—left to freeze to death.
Her tiny body was pressed into the snow, too weak to move. Her fur was stiff with frost, her ribs visible, her paws cracked and bleeding from the ice. She had stopped crying. She had stopped hoping.

A kind stranger stopped their car and gently lifted her frozen body from the ground. She didn’t even flinch—just lay still, too cold and tired to resist.
