Description
Bertie is a gorgeous show quality pup Miniature Long Haired Dachshund - his full brother won best puppy dog at Crufts in 2026. He is well socialised, confident and outgoing but has been let down by potential new owners so would now love to find his forever home. He is house trained, toilet trained and obedient. He comes when he's called by his name. He lives with his mother and full sister and also my show Cavaliers and our Rough Collie who won Best of Breed at Crufts in 2019 ...so he is used to being with other dogs.
He will go to his new home with toys, blankets, food, (25% off vouchers for his Natures Menu meat and Josera kibble) his Kennel Club papers and 5 generation pedigree along with 5 weeks free KC insurance. I have shown and bred dogs for years and will offer support and encouragement to his new owners throughout Bertie's lifetime.

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
