Laurel & Hardy 10 week old brothers-‘DINKUM’S’ babies. Wire- haired terrier types with ikkle puppy beards social & adorable
If I can help these two beautiful boys then I’m going to say they were from the ‘lucky litter’ or at least the ‘fortunate two’. Dinkums their mum (who I’ve found a home for) is the gentlest of girls. You can see what she looks like in the pups showcase video. She was chained by the neighbour of a local surgeons mother. Her mum had a male dog and year after year poor Dinkum had litters whilst she was tethered. This is a typical ‘scenario’ in Europe. When the surgeons mum passed away both her dog and dinks along with her recent litter of 6 pups were given temporary shelter by the doctor. 4 of the pups were given to villagers & DINKUM’S was dropped off in the municipality pound. That brings us to Laurel & Hardy because if I am successful in helping them they will be the first of Dinkums grim reality to make it to the UK & salvation. They are both

living in a house & go outside for wee wees.
Had the doctor not helped it would have been worse as we don’t know what happened to her previous litters. However an outlook that has grown up with dogs on chains accepts the horror of it & often views it indifferently.
I have a chance to get these two gorgeous babies a chance at something more.... a paradise if you like. If you think that’s you please let me know.
This bio is shared by the brothers because they are equally divine & whilst they are being advertised separately they are a double act. If some lucky person would like to adopt them together then that would be a phenomenal outcome.
Without further ado let me introduce you individually to Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy- first up ‘Laurel’.
They are in many ways very similar. Laurel lad is the more gregarious & outgoing of the two with a typical youthful approach to every situation from insect study (see video) to toy tug of war. It’s fine if he wins, it’s fine if he doesn’t - as it’s likely he’ll go off to discover the next bit of leaf to chew or a roll around with his siblings. He is a joyful, sweet & gentle little lad- a ready made companion with a very balanced temperament. Stan Laurel is an effortless display of curiosity & happiness. He doesn’t rely on his sibling nor dominate him so for me this pup is a thoroughly decent & thoughtful soul. If Hardy wants the toy or bit of twig Laurel won’t bat an eyelid.
Hardy is the more straight act of the two whilst still being hilarious- he has a more grounded way about him. There is a self-
containment mixed with puppy play & whilst he is more shy than his brother - that reserve gives him an air of independence at times. I like that self- control because it makes him unique and like an older spirit in a puppies body. At the same time he is wilful & determined - takes the toy on your blind side so he can go off on his todd & celebrate his prize. I love that boldness with his brothers & sisters which turns into passiveness with humans. The two female siblings were being dog sat when I was there so we were fortunate to see them together interacting.
Hardys sensitive side is endearing because he doesn’t want to be the centre of attention. He’s composed. Neither pup has experienced cruelty so they are as an infant should be- easily handled and responsive. Both are measured and not over zealous- they are affectionate and placid. I think they are very special & unbelievably cute.
Their father was medium sized-mother very small so I do not anticipate that they will be over large - a pleasing toy poodle stature imagine.
Because they are opposites they make a good team both learning from each other & can flourish in their own right apart. They really are a blank & adorable canvas.
