Meet Izzy,
She’s a Great British shorthair, fully registered and microchipped. She does have a Cat fancy account in which we can swap over.
Me and my ex partner rehomed her 3 years ago from an abusive lifestyle of being a show cat, she was bullied and bread until we took her into our life.
She’s 10 years old and is such a mischievous cat, for the past 3 years she’s came out her shell after being anxious and depressed due to her past, now, although on her terms, she is the most affectionate cat you’ll meet.
She’s loves a stroke and a cuddle, will paw for more until you give in and loves to steal your milk if there’s any. She’s never bitten or scratched and is the most friendly cat you’ll meet.
For the first month when we got Izzy, she was very docile, and hid a lot, new spaces for her can be scary, so she will take a while to get used to her new home, after years of being moved around and put on show she needs someone to love her until her final days, my and my patner unfortunately can’t give that anymore as we are moving countries due to job change and don’t agree that it’s suitable for her, so need a loving home for her.
With her age she doesn’t like loud environments so a family home most likely isn’t suitable, she can make a mess but is litter trained, just with her old age she struggles to always find the thing.
She’s honestly the most loving and beautiful cat, we are sad to let her go but know it’s the right thing to do, however it needs to be to a loving home, as we aren’t willing to give her away to anyone. Izzy deserves only the best :)
