Cricket is a 4yo (2021) 15/15.1 Thoroughbred X Welsh D mare.
Professionally broken in at 3yo (2024)
Has predominantly been hacked in company but has been hacked alone a handful of times (not my preference) so this will need to be worked on. Will go first or last, not fazed by large vehicles, livestock, dogs or walkers. Will go through all different types on terrain.
Has been to local show (April 2025) where she was shown in hand and ridden, proved to be unfazed by horses coming and going, stood at the box all day with no problems.
Has also been to a local clear round (april 2025) where she went clear in 50, 60 and 70 proving bold and scopey to a fence, not fussed but fillers or coloured poles. Has also been jumped on grass at home.
Did an 11mile fun ride, was foot perfect all the way round, rode through a stream, open fields and past a very busy motorway. She completed that in walk, trot and canter.
Has been schooled since January is green but willing. Currently being schooled by a confident 14yo girl.
She’s proving to have nice paces but needs more work in this area.
Perfect to travel/load, have her back done, teeth/vaccines, feet and clipping.
Loves attention and people, will stand all day to be fussed and brushed.
Cricket is green therefor needs a confidant and firm rider to bring out her full potential.
She can thrown in the odd buck and have a little nap but once pushed through it she is fine.
So for this reason no novices or nervous riders.
In time will make a fantastic eventer/hunter will make a perfect all rounder.
Extremely sad sale but i just don’t have the experience to bring out her full potential 5 ⭐️ home only. Open to vettings and viewings.
