Description

It is with a massive heavy heart that we have to re-home Cumberland. We have only had him 8 weeks and we re-homed him from a friend of a friend being told the reason for the re-home is due to him and their cat not liking him but he was amazing with their other dog. Context We have a 1 year old that we have had since puppy and loves other dogs and plays so well so we decided the time was right to get him a friend and it just happened that Cumberland became available at the same time and we new of the person so thought it was a great idea. We were told he was 8 months old, chipped and once he had a vet they would transfer his details. When we got a vet, we were told a different story and short version we could not get his medical history. My vet gave him a full check up and due to him being 8 months they gave him booster injections and flea and worm treatment. Thankfully they found that he was chipped and from me transferring this over I found that his DOB is actually 10/09/25. Cumberland is so cuddly and affectionate BUT not with my other dog and had attacked him several times and three of which involved trips to the vets. It genuinely is with a heavy heart that I am doing this but Walter (my other dog) is petrified and now very anxious so it is not fair. Cumberland will benefit massively from being the only dog. I need to make sure that whoever takes this beautiful boy on and becomes his parent(s) can give him all the love in the world. For reasons stated above, please do not enquire if you already have a dog(s) I have set a price as I need who ever is going to love him to be serious but we are also very open to discussions around the price. Very happy for you to come and visit as well as ask me all the questions as you should be confident I am legitimate. I am also going to be asking a lot of questions as I cannot have him be re-homed again it is cruel
