Description
She is 9 years old, is spayed and her name is Peanut. Unfortunately she no longer gets along with the other pets in the household and has developed anxiety along with behaviour problems, these include periods of time where she is over grooming and she sometimes pee’s on the carpet when confronted with the other cats or the dog. She does use a litter tray and uses a cat flap to go outside. Although at the moment she is confined to a crate with litter box, bed and food as this is the only way she feels safe enough to not be over grooming and will consistently use the litter box. We have tried everything the vet has suggested over the last 2 years to counter these problems (they only started about 3 years ago before that there was no issue) but it isn’t helping and she’s getting more anxious as time goes on. Rehoming her is a last resort as it is unfair to have her so stressed out all the time or keep her crated. If you think you can help her please contact me.
