Darla is a little sweetheart! Don't be fooled by her shyness, once you become one of her humans she will love you forever. And, this girl wants to love someone so much... but she keeps getting overlooked 😢. She needs to be the only dog in an adult only home with no cats.
She loves going for walkies and little Darla walks well on the lead. She also loves to do zoomies and splash around in the puddles! ☔️ Darla is lots of fun!
Darla is a very clever young lady and knows many commands like: 'sit', 'down', 'touch', 'paw', 'spin', and 'play dead'. Darla seems to learns things very quickly - she's a proper smart cookie! She's also used to living in a home and is fully house-trained.
This little lady needs her own space to rest, relax and chew her treats. She doesn't feel safe if people do not respect her right to be left alone when she's having some 'downtime' (we know that feeling, right?), so she needs to be in an adult only home.
Darla is happiest in a quiet home with not too many visitors, or where she can have her safe space away from people visiting. However, she is very loving towards her people and really shines when she is with those she loves.
Once Darla bonds with you she will ask for lots of strokes and tummy rubs. She really is such a sweet dog and we know that her person/people are out there somewhere... we just need to help her find them!
Darla needs to be the only dog in a home with no cats and no children.
