PLEASE READ FULL ADVERT BEFORE CONTACTING ME — LOKI IS A SPECIAL BOY AND I WANT THE RIGHT HOME FOR HIM.
Loki (affectionately known as Big Fluff) is a 1.5-year-old purebred Alaskan Malamute with a heart as big as his paws. He’s a loving, goofy, loyal boy who thrives on human attention and enjoys being part of the family.
He’s excellent with people, kids, and other dogs, and has a very gentle nature. Loki can be a bit of a flirt with female dogs — he’ll sometimes try to mount — but he’s never aggressive and responds well to being called away. He’s not food-aggressive, takes treats gently, and loves praise and belly rubs.
Loki has good recall and can be walked off-lead safely in open areas. He knows basic commands such as sit and give paw, and is eager to please, especially if there’s a reward involved. He’s a playful dog who enjoys walks, cuddles, and just being near his people.
Loki is up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming, and has been very well cared for. He’s crate trained and travels fine in the car.
Sadly, due to a change in personal circumstances, we’re having to make the difficult decision to rehome him. This is through absolutely no fault of his own — he’s a wonderful companion, but we can no longer give him the time, space, and consistency he deserves.
Loki will suit an active home where he can have regular exercise, affection, and engagement. He’d be happiest with someone experienced with large breeds, but he’s also gentle enough to fit into a loving family setting.
He truly is a one-of-a-kind dog — affectionate, intelligent, and full of personality. This is a heartbreaking decision, so only genuine, caring homes will be considered.
The £500 rehoming fee is simply to ensure he goes to a committed, responsible owner who genuinely wants him.
