Description
This is incredibly hard to write, but I’m looking for a new home for Maggie where she can truly thrive.
Maggie is a young Belgian Malinois with so much potential. She is clever, alert, affectionate, and full of energy — exactly what you’d expect from the breed. She bonds strongly with her people and has a lot of love to give.
Due to a change in our personal circumstances, we’re no longer able to give Maggie the level of time, structure, and consistency she needs. We have young children, and Maggie’s size, strength, and high energy levels can feel overwhelming for them at times. Although we have previously owned a Malinois, Maggie is very much at the higher end of the breed’s drive and intensity, and requires more input than we’re realistically able to provide.
Because of this, we feel it’s in Maggie’s best interests to be rehomed with someone who:
• Has experience with Belgian Malinois or similar high-drive working breeds
• Can offer firm, kind leadership and ongoing training
• Has the time, space, and lifestyle to meet her physical and mental needs
• Ideally has no young children
This decision has been made out of love, not convenience. Maggie deserves a home where she can flourish, not just cope.
