🐻 Meet Sanchez 🐻
🏡 Sanchez is being fostered in the West Midlands
❤️ He is a 7 year old male, medium/large (24kg) mixed breed.
❤️ Sanchez is very new to life in a home! He spent 4 years at a rescue in Gran Canaria before before travelling to the UK earlier this month. Despite this he is settling in really well! He is very nervous of people, but he has made great progress with his foster family and especially loves his foster Dad!
❤️ He is living with children at his foster home. He was very scared of them originally but he is slowly learning that they won't hurt him. He's not quite there yet.
❤️ He lived with lots of dogs in the rescue, and has greeted them nicely on walks.
❤️ The rescue said he doesn't mind cats. He has walked past plenty on walks and he doesn't pay them any attention.
❤️ His toilet training is going great. No problems through the night at all, and after the first couple of days he's had no accidents in the day either (he has been left for around 6 hours in the day).
❤️ He is crate trained on a bedtime and settles well.
❤️ He currently goes on 2 walks a day. His lead walking at the moment is mostly good. He can get scared of some people on walks and might try to get away, but other than that he walks by your side.
❤️ He travels well in the car.
❤️ Sanchez needs someone who understands that he is at the start of his journey. He is a big softy and needs someone to show him the world isn't so scary! He deserves a home that can give him lots of love, a comfy bed, and some delicious treats 🐶🐾

Sanchez is microchipped, neutered, fully vaccinated and vetted prior to travel to the UK, 4dx tested, IFAT tested, up to date with flea and worm treatment, and has an EU Passport.

📣 Must keep in touch with the charity so they can see how well he's doing
