🐻 Meet Sanchez 🐻
🏡 Sanchez is being fostered in the West Midlands
❤️ He is a 7 year old male, larger side of medium (24kg) mixed breed.
❤️ Sanchez spent 4 long years at a rescue in Gran Canaria before before travelling to the UK in August. Despite this, he has settled in to home life really well! He can be nervous of new people.
❤️ He is living with children at his foster home. He was very scared of them originally but now he is fine.
❤️ He lived with lots of dogs in the rescue, and greets them nicely on walks.
❤️ The rescue said he doesn't mind cats.
❤️ He is fully toilet trained.
❤️ He has been left for around 6 hours in the day with absolutely no problems.
❤️ He is crate trained on a bedtime and sleeps through.
❤️ Sanchez is nervous of new people coming into our home. Work would need to be done if you have a lot of visitors.
❤️ He currently goes on 2 walks a day. His lead walking is mostly good and he is enjoyable to walk. He can pull if there is a delicious smell. He is not reactive.
❤️ Sanchez has learnt 'sit' and 'paw' quickly and loves a treat.
❤️ He travels fine in the car.
❤️ I think Sanchez's ideal home would be with a single person or couple who enjoy walks or pottering in the garden. Someone firm but affectionate because he really loves a fuss!
❤️ Sanchez needs someone who understands that he is at the start of his journey. He is a big softy and needs someone to show him the world isn't so scary! He deserves a home that can give him lots of love, a comfy bed, and some delicious treats (especially cheese!) 🐶🐾

Sanchez is microchipped, neutered, fully vaccinated and vetted prior to travel to the UK, 4dx tested, IFAT tested, up to date with flea and worm treatment, and has an EU Passport.
Home requirements:

📣 Must keep in touch with the charity so they can see how well he's doing
