Description

I am having to give up my sugar gliders as I don’t have the time or money to look after them anymore, other animals in the house are also causing an issue which is also a reason that we want to sell them. They are approximately 1 year old and their names are Honey and Bubbles but can be renamed. Honey has a tail and has a more yellow face than bubbles. Bubbles doesn’t have a tail as we had to amputate it due to the tail being injured when we got her. Food: They are currently on the sgs diet which is pok Choi, apples, berries, butternut squash, mango/papaya and natural yoghurt blended together into ice cubes with different supplements mixed in as well. They love scrambled egg as a treat as well as raisins, oranges and other fruit and veg. Care: They are currently in a large cage typically used for birds with less than a cm between each bar as they can escape. They need to be cleaned out regularly and need things to play with and entertain themselves as well as fluffy bedding/blankets/pouches that they can sleep in to keep them warm. Handling: Due to other animals in the house both honey and bubbles are let out of their cage into a tent which is made of netting so they cannot escape but have more space to play and interact with people. Bubbles is more friendly towards humans and jumps/climbs all over you however isn’t handled enough that she can be trusted outside of the cage freely on your hand/body. Honey is more shy and afraid of people as we think she was older when we got her, it takes her a while to get used to being out of the cage and interacting with people but she will still jump and climb over you after a little while. She doesn’t take food from your hand as gentle as bubbles at first but once she realises you are there to give her food like mealworms she will get gentler. Bubbles will sit on your hand to have food however honey will be a bit more cautious so grabs the food fast, once she knows you are there to give her the food she gets more gentle. They are nocturnal but when woken up become energetic quite quickly. They are being sold with their toys, diet instructions/ remaining supplements. The cage can be given with the sugar gliders however it is rusty in places.
