Description

Very loving and chilled 4 year old Twiggy. She comes from a very loved family home but unfortunately due to work commitments we can no longer keep her. I will only let her go to the best home. Microchipped, vet checked, flead and wormed recently. She is best not left on her own so needs people around her. She is good with kids and other dogs. Not a barker. She is not spayed and has had a litter of pups with previous breeder. Not due in season. She eats well and loves a slipper or toy. Not good with cats or squirrels!!!

Pros

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs

Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please

Fun-loving and playful by nature

Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own

Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints

They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise

The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
