Description
TWINKIE IS IN THE CARE OF EVESHAM GREYHOUND AND LURCHER RESCUE Twinkie is a 1-year-old Italian Greyhound. She is tiny; 8" to the shoulder and weighs only 2kg. We are looking for an extra special, amazing home for the very beautiful Twinkie. She is one wonderful little dog looking for an equally amazing home. Twinkie has some special requirements and these need to be taken on board when applying to adopt her. Twinkies elbow joints don’t work like they should, she has seen an orthopaedic vet who said there isn’t anything that can be done but she isn’t in pain and is happy to live her life. Twinkie does not know she is disabled and so at times we need to reign her back in, she cannot go for normal walks and needs to be able to have plenty of rest throughout the day to make sure she doesn’t do too much. She runs and plays like any other puppy and can jump like a little kangaroo, she jumps between the settees like a little monkey, I think her back legs are twice as strong to compensate for her weaker front legs. She loves to go up the garden and on occasion she might even had the odd wee and poo up there, she isn’t fully house trained but is puppy pad trained for her wees not so much her poos, for some reason on the odd occasion she will randomly wee on the settee we haven’t figured this out but it’s not every day. She is an excitable playful puppy who loves to get into mischief and naughtiness she loves her toys and must have a constant supply, she can be a bit naughty at times and chews on things she shouldn’t like remote controls and door frames we obviously discourage this but she will have a chew if given the chance. Twinkie loves a cup of a tea but doesn’t always wait till you finished resulting in a fair few spilled cups of tea in our laps. Twinkie loves other dogs and needs to live with a playful smaller male to keep her company. A dog that isn’t too big as she is so tiny only about 2kg - we are looking for dogs under whippet sized and male (castrated) to be her companion. We would like a home without children and someone at home a lot as she loves her humans and she is still only young so will need someone around a lot. Twinkie loves her food and needs small and regular meals as she can drop weight easily so this needs to be maintained. She has an amazing vocal range making the weirdest oddest sounds especially when playing. I cannot relay in words what a crazy funny full of character this little lady is, she has funny little traits like chewing your hair or snuggling in the covers on the settee or giving you hundreds of kisses. Twinkie is not suitable to live with cats or children. DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE THOUSANDS DIE; SAVE A LIFE - ADOPT
