Description

Here we have Daisy (staffy cross whippet) Daisy is 2.5 year’s old. He DOB is 5th February 2023. We have had Daisy since she was 7 weeks old. She is up to date with her jabs, she has her flea and worming from the complete care plan from vets for pets. She is microchipped. Daisy loves her walks, food and lots of belly rubs. Daisy eats dry and wet food but we have given her grain free food or raw food as she suffers from seasonal allergies. She’s better on raw food and iams biscuits. She eats dry as and when she wants too. Daisy has suffered from anxiety for around 1.5 years and has recently been started on anti anxiety medication. This has helped a little but we are still struggling with her anxiety. These are covered by her insurance. She is fine with cats and other dogs. We have another dog and quite a few cats. She’s been around children since we’ve had her but as a person who’s always had dogs I would still have-caution around smaller children. Daisy would suit a home where she can be loved and fussed all the time and unfortunately I cannot give her this. Now this is unfortunately why we need to rehome her. We don’t want to do this but I’m getting complaints about her howling when we’re in work or I’m in university 3 full days per week. She has a dog walker once a week but unfortunately I can’t afford any more than once a week. She is walked daily but it’s still not enough. She has music, tv on and other animals but she craves human attention so a home where she’s not left for long periods would be good for her. She does have a crate that can come with her she loves to lie in it but panics when the door is shut. She is such a sweet girl and this is breaking my heart but I now have no other choice than putting her up for adoption. I will need to keep in full contact with whoever adopts her as this is heartbreaking for us as a family. I wouldn’t do this if I had another way but I don’t want to be kicked out of my home and I cannot give up university. Any questions please feel free to ask me. If you think you can offer Daisy a 5* home please message me and we’ll go from there. She will come with what food she has left and her medication and also her microchip details and all her jab history. As well as her flea and worming medication. Thank you
