Description
I got Claus 8 years ago as a tiny, timid kitten, and he’s grown into a big, gentle, loving cat. He would be perfect for an elderly person, couple, or anyone looking for a calm and affectionate companion.
Claus is always there when you need him most. He loves to knead on blankets and dressing gowns, enjoys Whiskas wet food, dry biscuits, and runs for Dreamies. He will happily head-butt your hand for more fuss! He’s not keen on being picked up, but don’t worry – Claus will become your shadow. He’ll sprawl on the rug, curl up on the sofa or bed with you, and often perch on top of the fridge while you potter in the kitchen.
He’s a healthy boy with no issues, neutered, microchipped and regularly wormed and fleaed at home. He is fully litter trained (I can provide a tray). Claus has no diet intolerances but does occasionally get a hairball. His short but thick fur loves a good brush – he’ll even roll over for a belly brush, which is very sweet!
Claus is a gentle soul. He’s great with children, although he hasn’t lived with any, and he has grown up around dogs – he gets along with calm ones that don’t chase cats. He doesn’t play much these days but still enjoys the odd zoomies and loves his scratching post (this could do with replacing in his new home).
He has been an indoor cat while living with me in a flat, but he has also been an outdoor cat before. If kept in for the first couple of months, he would settle into either lifestyle happily.
I’m sadly rehoming Claus as I’m preparing for a big life change and feel he deserves more attention than I can give right now.
Claus truly deserves a calm and loving forever home where he’ll continue to be the loyal companion he’s always been. If you think you could give him that, please get in touch to arrange a meeting.
Claus will be homed with his bowls, litter tray and his favourite blanket.
