DescriptionCoco is being offered for sale, she is my dog and I'm unable to walk her anymore due to mobility issues which will be apparent when we meet. It's the genuine reason for sale and not the usual "ooh were so sad but can't keep little shep through no fault of his own" etc etc (lies).
I have advertised her before for these exact same reasons but had to withdraw her from sale as my 3 boys and wife were all very upset and decided they couldn't let her go. No one kept to their side of the bargain so consequently, she is rarely walked these days. I am a strong believer in a big part of dog ownership is a really good walk each day and I'm having to put my foot down now and say enough is enough, she must now go to someone who will look after her in the manner she deserves. She is very loving and loyal, very obedient and I have trained her for immediate recall to the whistle regardless of what she's getting involved in at that moment. Sit, stay, retrieve, lay, heel, ( I don't use a lead when not walkiing near roads) and she is very connected and responsive to her master. I personally can't stand dogs that do what they like (ignorant) as are the majority of dogs, especially in parks. In my opinion, too many dog owners misunderstand and know little if anything about their dogs and the species in general but thankfully I'm not one of them. I've won competitions, trained all types of dogs, judged and won the UK Championships in Stoneleigh back in the day. She's been owned from puppyhood by an experienced handler and the successful suitor/s will become the new owner/s of a truly excellent dog.
From a gamekeeper owned working Springer bitch , sired by a champion stud Poodle shes certainly a great stamp of a bitch with show quality conformation (see pictures).
In short, if you're wanting to aquire a beautiful looking dog with zero issues who's house trained, obedient, good natured and used to being around children, boys aged 10 upwards to be specific then she would save you alot of the headaches in rearing a puppy which you may or may not be capable of training to a high standard of obedience. She could suit an older couple, but not of the sedentary type, a family or indeed someone who wanted a companion in the woods who they could rely on to stay by and not entertain distraction. She could easily be all things to all types of owner/s but please don't be offended if after speaking with you I refuse you.
I inherently know and understand dogs and I know too, a suitable owner when I talk to one.
Benefit from my 50 years of dog ownership if you want to avoid the stressful and on many occasion unsuccessful quest to find your perfect canine acquisition. Thank you for taking the time to read my description. Mick Anderson.
