Sirius has flown from Cyprus to find his forever home and is currently in foster in County Durham. I met him in Cyprus where he was really struggling with the cage and the heat . He is an amazing boy and this is what his foster mum says about him
He has adjusted well, He is exactly what you would expect of a good natured 2 year old GSD. He is gentle, friendly and playful. He is unreactive to dogs and great with people. He will bark at a cat if it reacts to him. We haven't been around children yet. Sirius is intelligent and learns rules quickly. A stern "no" is enough (he ran off with my watering can, pulled a towel off the line and grabbed a cushion from the sofa) but did not repeat the offenses once told. He has been clean in the house from the start I have two older dogs, who he doesn't aggravate, but I'm sure he would play with younger dogs. He has a two minute zoomie now and again in the garden and in the house he likes to rag the dog toys, but doesn't try to destroy them. Most of the time he is happy to be on his bed or exploring the garden. He has not had any issues over food. No food aggression, and eats well. He is nice to take for a walk, inquisitive, but unreactive to other dogs and people . He goes through the night without any disturbance. I think he will make a wonderful pet in a household with or without another dog. He is a gorgeous GSD with a lot of love to give.
