Reared by excellent and experienced parents. Their mother is called Breeze who's a hearty and no-nonsense lady!
Their father is called Indigo and he's full of energy and curiosity!
The chicks will be sold at the optimum age for taming, but I've also spend lots of time giving them cuddles in the nestbox to get them a bit more comfortable around people!
Most of their diet is homegrown (for convenience), consisting of chard, carrots, grass seed, fresh millet sprays and quail eggs from their groundnesting neighbours!
They are also fed a veg and fruit chop typically every other day, made up of spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, grapes and blueberries.
They have access to iodine blocks, cuttlefish bone and are given a vitamin d3 and calcium supplement in their water occasionally.
I've cared for and kept budgies for 5 years and hope to continue doing so for many more, please feel free to ask any questions about budgie care!
