Minerva is a long-hair Persian cat who is about 10 years old. She is very gentle and a little shy but she loves to be stroked and made a fuss of by a caring and understanding adult.
She was owned by an elderly couple from birth but when one of them passed away, the other felt unable to keep the cat. We agreed to take her in but she has struggled with our two rambunctious children and we have decided, with heavy hearts, that she can no longer stay here.
We are looking for a loving home for her. She would struggle to live with children unless the house had a lot of spaces for her to hide in. She does need regular brushing to help her maintain her long hair.
She has had her vaccinations. We haven't been able to confirm whether she's microchipped (she was an indoor cat with them, but has enjoyed spending time in our garden - she struggles to climb and her shy nature means she doesn't roam). We do have contact with the old owner and can provide details of the previous vet. She has been spayed.
The price is set at £10 because they wanted a minimum but we don't want money for her - just someone to love her.
