Description

Sadly due to health and caring commitments we are unable to keep our doggy duo. Theo black dachshund was born ****************** Day 2023 and Talulah tan was 26 August 2024. They must go as a pair and stay together. Tutu has had 1 accidental litter and has been spayed. Theo has been castrated. Both are barkers at door bells other dogs etc but settle down when told and when they know you. They are literal lap dogs and Tutu loves sleeping next to you on a pillow whilst Theo snuggles under duvet/blankets at your feet. They are sooooo loving and love cuddles and walkies. Sad sad decision but not one taken lightly. Thanks

Pros

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs
Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please
Fun-loving and playful by nature
Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
