We have some baby rats available from our breeding programme ready now. Our babies are lively and inquisitive, well handled and usually settle down quickly into their new homes.
Our rats are mostly dumbo, a few are top eared, mostly normal coated, a few rex. Our most common colours are siamese, black , black hooded and black capped and most are variegated meaning the white and black pattern is broken up with spotting. We do sometimes get blues and whites.
We also do breed dwarf rats which are a genetic mutation where the rats grow between 25% and 40% of normal size. They are much less prone to cancers than full size rats and live longer on average. Dwarf rats cannot be kept with full sized rats due to their small size and need cages with narrower bar spacings. We do not have any dwarf rats available at the moment but do run a waiting list.
If you are looking for an older rat or rats we have a few retired female rats looking for a home. Some are full size and some are dwarf. If you want to offer a home to one of our retired rats they are at a reduced price.
We will only sell our rats in single sex pairs or groups. We will only sell a single rat if it is to go to live with another rat or rats. Normal sized rats are £20 for 1, £35 for 2, £50 for 3 and £60 for 4. The dwarf rats are £35 each.
All our babies come with breeders certificates, information leaflet and handover food. Collection from Bradway in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, or delivery is possible.
