🐾 Tested to to new KC ‘Best Practice’ Health Standatd
🐾 The Kennel Club have updated their health testing requirements (Jan 2025). Rating dogs tested to a ‘Good Practice’ standard. Max is fully tested in line with the new rules showing that he is tested to a ‘Best Practice’ standard - not all stud dogs are!
🐾 And the KC Find A Puppy website lists litters in order of health tests so by using a stud who is tested to the ‘Best Pratice’ standard means that the litter listing is prioritised.
🐾 Max’s health tests are;
prcd-PRA - clear
FN - clear
AMS - clear
AON - clear
BVA eye cert – clear(Mar’25) - this is an annual test
Gonioscopy – clear(Mar’24) - tested every 3 years
Hip score - 13
🐾 Health tests can be verified by checking the KC website. His registered - Maximus Mocha at Boggyhall
🐾 We have a good reputation as breeders due to the care of our puppies. But also due to the health of our dogs. Puppy owners are more likely to look for fully tested parents.
🐾 Show type - descendant from show champions. And before you say that he looks like a worker, he has a really thick coat and I shave home short because he is always in the mud.
🐾 Proven. Sired over 180 puppies!
🐾 Max is a brother from another litter (ie sane Mum and Dad but younger) to Hershey the popular stud from Simbawood. But Hershey is NOT tested to the KC ‘Best practice’ standard.
🐾 We are small scale licensed breeders. Part of this process is a thorough check on the health of our dogs by the council and an independent vet.
🐾 Max has a gorgeous temperament - he is a big softie
🐾 He is chocolate roan (carries sable) and is a good size and nice and square shape.
🐾 Price includes 2 natural matings 48 hours apart. And copies of health tests and pedigree.
🐾 Additional matings can be provided if necessary and this can be discussed and agreed at the time.
🐾 He can be used with AI at a clinic of your choice. Extra charge for fuel may be required.
🐾 Last minute matings can be arranged, Call or text for more information.
