Description
This is Luanne, she's a Maine Coon x British Shorthair mix, shes about 8 months old, 2.6kg, spayed and up-to-date with vaccines.
She's a lovely girl: shy around new people but quickly becomes your friend, and loves to explore, play and cuddle. Her favourites include chasing toys on string or playing fetch with pom-poms (if you throw them she'll bring them back to you for more!).
We've had her since 3 months but are reluctantly rehoming as we've had some changes to circumstances and both the cost and energy required for looking after a kitten are sadly unsustainable for us now.
She's good with kids, and has always been gentle with my 2 year old even though he can sometimes be a bit heavy handed. She's fascinated by him and will often sidle up to him while he's playing and just sit there watching.
She's never been outside but has coped well with being an indoor cat. Our home is fairly small so I do think she'd benefit from more space to roam, or at least more space for her cat trees and toys to be better placed. At night she'll either come upstairs with us or follow up shortly after to sleep either on our bed or in her igloo bed. She's toilet trained and has never had an accident, and happily uses a covered litter tray. Her favourite spot is on her radiator bed, especially in winter when the heating is on, but you'll often find her there if she's not with you already.
Happy to include all the various cat items we've collected over the past few months including two cat trees (one tall, one small), beds, litter tray, cat carrier, toys, cat play mat, grooming supplies and any food/litter we have. I will also happily get her microchip details updated too.
