Description

This is Cheekoms. He is around 5 months old, who came into our care after being rescued from an unsuitable environment where he was being sold on Facebook. When he first arrived, he was fearful and quick to bite, unsure of human interaction. But since then, Cheekoms has truly come out of his shell and shown us what a big personality he has! He's incredibly inquisitive, full of energy, and has a sassy little streak that keeps us on our toes. He absolutely loves to explore during his free-roam time, spends hours running on his wheel, but most of all insists on scenting absolutely everything in sight. Cheekoms has come such a long way, and it's been a joy watching him grow into the confident, curious character he is today. What Cheekom needs is an enriching home where he is able forage and dig, while also having his free roam time. As part of responsible hamster care, it is essential he has a dedicated play area space provided each day. This could be a secure playpen filled with new items for him to investigate, or a fully hamster-proofed room where he can safely roam without risk of getting stuck or lost It’s very important to me that Cheekoms goes to a 5-star home where he will be properly cared for and loved. Because of this, I will be asking questions and am more than happy to answer any you may have as well, to ensure he is going to a home that understands and is prepared for hie needs. There is a £20 adoption fee. This helps cover his care and enables me to continue rescuing and supporting more animals in need. To be considered for adoption, you must already have a suitable setup in place that meets all the essential care requirements for hamsters. Hamsters are solitary animals and must be provided with an appropriately sized enclosure of at least 100cm x 50cm x 50cm. If this is not been prepared or your set up is unsuitable the adoption will not be successful and you may not get a reservation for him. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about this wonderful boy and the adoption requirements. I truly hope Cheekoms find the loving forever home he deserves!
