This striking 14.2hh Appaloosa x Arab gelding is a real head-turner with tons of character and scope. At 15 years old, he’s experienced, well-schooled, and still has loads to offer the right rider. He’s a forward, intelligent type with a strong work ethic when in a consistent routine. He’s honestly the sweetest horse you’ll meet — affectionate and gentle with a heart of gold. He’s even been trained to give kisses, making him a total sweetheart on and off the yard. Despite his strong and forward nature under saddle, he loves attention and enjoys being fussed over.
🌟 Jumping is his passion – he’s bold to a fence, never says no, and has plenty of scope for 80–90cm courses with ease. He’s competed unaffiliated in the past and really shines in a jump-off — sharp, agile, and loves his job.
🧠 In the school, he’s responsive, works nicely off the leg, and has lovely paces when asked. He’s quick to learn and enjoys being kept mentally engaged.
🚫 NOT suitable for novices – he can be strong and forward, particularly if not kept in regular work. He hasn’t been in consistent work recently due to lack of time, so will need bringing back into fitness by a confident and capable rider.
❌ He doesn’t hack alone, and does not currently load, so will need someone patient and experienced to work on those areas.
✅ Good to handle, catch, groom, and rug. Lives in or out. Up to date with worming, vaccinations, and farrier. Sound and healthy.
