Description

Nochka is an energetic and affectionate dog. She is fond of cuddling on the sofa and lazily stretching in the sun, but is ready for an adventure the moment you say the key word! In the four years that she’s been with me, she’s been my faithful and fearless companion braving kayaking trips, open ski-lifts, accompanying our family on countless coastal walks and mountain hikes. She is smart and trainable: we attended a dog school together, she mastered all the basic commands and we learnt numerous tricks at home. She is a great dog, there is not a dull moment with her! She was adopted from a shelter in Poland in 2021 and I do not know much about her past or her breed; I believe she has some Doberman in her, while occasionally she passes for a Labrador or Pointer. She is a very healthy dog, never had problems with her stomach or other organs, does not need special diet. Her vaccinations are up to date and she has EU pet passport. She has a bite mark on her back indicating she had been attacked by another dog (before I adopted her) which these days, sadly, means she is fearful of other larger dogs. She can be introduced to new dogs who do not show aggression, but off-leash walks in busy areas are out of the question for her. She wears muzzle in the city for the safety and peace of mind. Opposite to her distrust of new dogs, she is very, very human-friendly and is extremely tactile even with strangers. I am looking for a new home for her which would give her more than I currently can. Nochka and I have moved to London not long ago and it is was hard for her to settle. Starting 2026, my family and I will have less time for her for personal reasons and, in the interest of the dog, we are I am making this very hard decision. Ideally you would be living in the countryside, have active lifestyle, a fenced back garden and experience with large dogs. We would like to use the indicated price money to pay for dog-training or enrichment for her and her new family or for it to be donated to a charity if the family is very experienced with dogs.
