This is a very honest advert and please, no time wasters. We live in the Bolton area (Greater Manchester) and we are looking for a companion for our 5 year old male Husky. Our boy is neutered and is the most friendly, laid back dog we have ever known!
We have a very active lifestyle, as we also own horses. So we are always out on the farm, long walks and generally outdoors most of the time!
After all of the days activities, our boy loves nothing more than to snuggle up and relax (he is very chilled in the house).
We are tentatively looking for a companion, as it is a huge decision and MUST be the right fit.
We have tried several rescues, but there are no matches for him :(
We don't have children, our animals are our children. It is myself, my husband and our Husky in the house.
We are looking for a friendly, playful companion for him; but nothing too crazy as as much as he will spend hours and hours playing, he also loves his relaxing time.
We have never met a dog that he doesn't get along with. So his new companion must be as sociable as him. He loves to meet up with other groups of dogs (play dates), so a new companion MUST get along with lots of other dogs.
We are ideally looking for something house trained and sociable. The new companion MUST be neutered
The new dog must be good to travel in the car and be happy to wait patiently, as our boy joins us to many horse shows and equine events.
Apologies, if we sound picky, but it has to be the perfect match for our already perfect boy.
If you have a dog you think could be suitable, we would love to hear from you. You MUST be open to trialing the dogs and them meeting up a few times.
Both myself and my husband have years of experience with dogs and have always had dogs growing up (including working dogs).
We are more than happy to answer all questions and have nothing to hide. Pics of our home/farm/stables can be shown.
Please don't be offended that we are so picky. As I said above, this match is very important as we want to enhance our boy's life with a companion, not ruin what he already has!
