Description
Here we have a 2 year old female GSD with stunning colouring. She is not spayed.
I have had Elsa now for 5 months and she is such a bouncy and energetic girl. She constantly wants to run, play and will not leave your side. In my home she has lived with small children and a cat (which she wants to chase but to play, never aggressive). In the previous home there was also 4 children and 2 cats so she is definitely great with children (although I would advise careful introductions with any new people)!
She is fully up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatment, and has been health checked by the vets to ensure she is a healthy girl! Her last season was in September.
Elsa unfortunately needs to be rehomed due to a change in living situation which is coming up, and I can’t give her the life she deserves when that happens. I only want what is best for her hence the price will be low, it isn’t about the money, I want her to go to the right people / person who has worked with GSD’s or owned them in the past. They love to be outside, playing, burning their energy and worked!
Unfortunately from the previous owner she didn’t have any training, or crucial puppy socialisation with other dogs, therefore she is reactive to other dogs and would keep her on lead unless in an enclosure where she can run freely. I have worked 1 on 1 with a professional dog trainer who did 30 years in the police as an instructor to try and get Elsa where I’d like to see her, and there have been improvements! She is house trained and waits to go outside for the toilet, does know basic commands, but she needs someone to continue this work ethic so she gets the best life possible.
Now with every good things come the downsides which everyone wants to know: she can be reactive to other dogs, she likes to be left alone whilst eating (possible resource guarding), she will chew TV remotes if you leave them lying around 😂.
Elsa truely is a lovely girl, will lay and give you cuddles, lovely belly rubs and won’t leave you alone, that’s why it’s crucial she goes to someone who has a LOT of time to give to her, and she will make the best companion.
I’m aware it’s close to ****************** and I don’t want her to go to anyone who just wants a dog for ******************, she is for life if the time can be dedicated to her. I am sad that I have to rehome however this is what is best for her in the long run!
