We are looking for a loving home for our 5-year-old neutered male Ragdoll.
He’s a sweet and gentle boy with the classic Ragdoll temperament — calm, sociable, and people-aware. While he’s not a typical lap cat, he enjoys being close by, following you from room to room, and being part of everyday life. He prefers affection on his own terms, but values companionship.
He is very shy at first and will likely spend the first few days hiding while he adjusts to new surroundings. With time, patience and a calm environment, he becomes more confident and will quietly seek out your company. He likes to sleep curled up by your feet
He was raised alongside another Ragdoll, and sadly, his companion passed away last year. Since then, we’ve tried to keep him content as a solo pet, but it’s clear he’s feeling the loss. He has become more vocal and attention-seeking, which is very out of character for him.
We did consider getting another cat ourselves, but a recent change in work commitments now means frequent travel. We felt it wouldn’t be fair to him — or a second cat — to be placed in a cattery regularly or to go without consistent companionship.
For this reason, we’d love to find him a home where there is already another Ragdoll or a similarly gentle-natured cat.
He is neutered, microchipped, and has always been kept indoors.
A few of his quirks:
• He drinks only from a running tap — never a bowl.
• He eats dry biscuits only (and occasional dry treats). He has no interest in wet food or typical treats like chicken, cheese or ham.
We are looking for someone who understands the Ragdoll breed and can offer him patience, routine and gentle companionship.
