Please meet Zelda-Calm, elegant & gracious girl -3/4yrs old- great with other dogs
In wanting to appeal for Zelda I wonder how I can use the power of my words to find her the love & family she has never had. I contemplate the chances she missed that weren’t really opportunities at all otherwise I wouldn’t be writing this & I ask myself ‘where is her special person?’
I go on to deliberate how I’m going to bridge the gap between her reality & the devotion & compassion she deserves.
Zelda is a gracious & pretty girl who was coping as best as she could with the pound environment. She is so unworldly, elegant & gentle that her presence is almost therapeutic to be around. Whilst doing her best to put it all behind her she was injured as you can see & her predicament as grim as it was got worse. It’s almost healed now & of course she received the care she needed though it’s
put her back & her eyes plead with you when you stroke her. She’s clearly begging you to change things for her. Zelda is so accommodating & dignified that it’s hard to define her in language. Her calm air is so notable that her shyness isn’t the most striking aspect. From being in her pen she then pottered about and sat relaxed on the concrete. When she was hemmed in while we stroked her she just met our eyes with desperation & didn’t react to being cornered.
You can see in her videos (please ask if you haven’t watched them) that she is accommodating to men, women & dogs. Zelda is so majestic & such a positive presence in a timid exterior that you cannot fail to want to protect and know her. There is a softness and vulnerability to her whilst clearly waiting to blossom.
What she & I need is a little show of faith- She’s heading to England- Devon Brixham foster & bring advertised now.
