This handsome chap is Bob; he’s between 18 months and 2 years old. He’s quite a vocal cat and soon lets you know it’s time for food!
He’s been with RAW for a while now, but is only just beginning to trust his fosterers and allow them to interact with him. He’s a very nervous lad. He’s probably not been shown too much affection and love from people as he was growing up, and his socialisation has been neglected. He needs a family of patient and experienced cat lovers who will allow him to continue his steady progress of trust. Also, people who will give him the time and space to thrive and not be daunted by a few backwards steps. He will perhaps need to be kept indoors for a few months at least in order to be completely happy in his new environment before being allowed to venture outside, something which he will no doubt want to do eventually. He would benefit from being an only pet initially, where he can have positive one-to-one experiences and learn to relax and enjoy being part of a loving family, although he has lived with another cat. With time and patience with the right owner he will make a lovely, loyal cat..
