Mimi is friendly, tame, and likes hanging out with people. Only goes in cage to eat, as she knows her seeds are there. Hates being shut in cage and will keep squawking till you let her out. If you leave her in squawking, it will be distressing for her and for you.
So unless you have a separate room for her or an aviary, you will be constantly cleaning up after her. She does spend time sitting on top of or inside the open cage too.
Will follow you in and out of kitchen or to other room. Likes to sit on head mostly and you can walk around and do all your tasks etc and she won't move off. Sits on shoulder too but less than head.
When she knows you are the one cleaning her cage and feeding her, you will be her favourite person. You won't get a moment of peace eating your food. She will come over and I usually put a pinch of my food on table and she pecks at that.
I'm too busy to keep this lovely bird. She is a great friend. Loves coming over while you're on your mobile and headbutts your hand to indicate she wants neck scratching. She won't let you stop. She'll nip at your hand so you keep at it.
