His story:
Finley is a stunning, medium-sized boy with the sweetest temperament and soulful eyes full of intelligence.
He was born around July 2023, making him just over 1 year old – young, eager to learn, and full of promise for the future.
Finley was rescued from difficult circumstances and is now safe in the shelter, waiting for a family to give him the love and guidance he deserves.

⚖️ Weight: around 23 kg
🏷 Type: based on his looks and movement, Finley appears to be a Border Collie mix, with perhaps some local Romanian genes softening the typical Collie intensity.
Looks & charm
Finley is a picture of beauty – his compact yet elegant build, plume-like tail and warm cream-and-copper coat make him stand out immediately. His expressive, intelligent eyes reveal the sensitivity and warmth of a dog who loves to connect deeply with people.
Character
Finley is affectionate, loyal and gentle by nature – a wonderful choice for anyone who appreciates the balance of Collie intelligence and sensitivity.
He loves human attention and will happily join in activities, walks or little games that challenge both his mind and body.
Because of his softer temperament, he’s also very sweet with other dogs and tends to adapt easily within a social group.
In the shelter, Finley behaves calm and friendly – he enjoys people’s company and interacts peacefully with the other dogs around him.
He’s currently learning to walk on the lead and shows a curious, cooperative attitude – eager to understand what’s expected of him and always happy to please.
He would thrive in a home where he can be mentally stimulated and included in everyday life.
He’s not the type of dog who would enjoy being left alone for long working hours (Border Collie nature) — he simply loves being part of his family’s rhythm and sharing experiences with them.
Ideal home
Finley would be happiest with people who have time, patience and affection to offer him — ideally in a home with access to a secure, dog-proof garden where he can run and play safely.
A fellow canine companion could be lovely for him, but it’s not essential as long as his adopters can offer him plenty of interaction, structure and enrichment themselves.
After play and activity, Finley is also calm and content to relax nearby, happy simply being close to his humans.

A home check (sometimes even online) is mandatory before any adoption.
We do not place dogs with people who do not genuinely love dogs — there are too many lives depending on us, and we cannot be too careful!
To adopt one of our dogs, you must have your own garden and no children under the age of 10.
We do not provide working dogs, service dogs, or assistance dogs — no matter how noble or well-intentioned the purpose may be.
If you adopt FINLEY, he will live with you as a beloved family pet, cared for and cherished as he truly deserves.
You also agree to keep in touch with us so that we can assist you with any questions or challenges that might arise.
We prefer to communicate by phone or WhatsApp, as we both work during the day and have limited access to emails.
It’s also much easier — we can exchange all the necessary information at once.
If you wish, we can arrange a video call so you can see FINLEY live before meeting him in person.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent rescue, fully dedicated to saving lives.
We are actively involved in spaying and neutering stray dogs and finding them loving homes.
We reserve the right to request a different adoption fee or donation for our shelter dogs, depending on individual circumstances.
In most cases, our costs are not fully covered.
We stay in touch with all our adopters — more than 500 families so far — and can provide excellent references upon request.
