Lolly is a wonderful 9 month old crossbreed (Mum was a rescue dog from Thailand, Dad was a terrier), but doesn’t get on with my younger children (age 5 and 2). She is nervous around strangers, and can show this by growling and barking, but time spent gaining her trust pays dividends: she’s a wonderfully affectionate, soppy, cuddly creature, who likes nothing better than a belly rub. She’s wonderful with my 11 year old (who happily takes her for walks), but probably not suited to a house with young children.
She’s a great dog and we’ll be sorry to lose her.
