Meet Aria — a 7-month-old working line German Shepherd with a splash of Malinois in her blood. She may be small in size, but she’s full of heart, drive, and character.Aria had a tough start to life after battling a nasty norovirus as a young pup. It affected her development and has left her permanently smaller than most of her breed—currently weighing around 18kg, and not likely to grow past 25kg. So, if you’ve always dreamed of having a shepherd but didn’t fancy being dragged down the street by 40 kilos of dog, Aria might be your perfect match.Originally bred with protection work in mind, Aria made it clear she’s got different goals in life. She doesn’t have much interest in bitework, but she’s energetic, ball-driven, and thrives on activity. She’d make a brilliant agility dog or adventure companion. She’s social, sweet, and confident—great with other dogs, and able to stand her ground in a calm and respectful way when needed.As a working line dog, Aria does require more than just the occasional stroll or cuddle. She needs mental and physical stimulation to stay fulfilled and frustration-free. The good news? We’ll teach you simple, practical ways to keep her engaged and balanced, even in a busy home.Before she goes to her new family, we’ll have a few handover sessions to help build up your handling skills, ensure she’s the right fit for your home, and lay down some solid obedience training.
