Description
Beautiful 7-Year-Old Female Dachshund – Loving Home Needed
With very heavy hearts, we are looking to find a loving new home for our 7-year-old female Dachshund, Red.
Red came to us as a rescue when she was 2 years old, and she has been a cherished member of our family ever since. Unfortunately, due to a change in circumstances — including a house move to a property that does not allow dogs and a baby on the way — we have had to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome her.
Red absolutely loves attention, cuddles, and long walks. She thrives on companionship and being close to her person. As a rescue, she can be a little nervous at first, but once she builds trust, she is incredibly loving, loyal, and affectionate.
We feel Red would be best suited to:
• A home with no children
• A calm, quiet environment
• Ideally an older couple or someone who is home most of the time
• Someone patient who can give her the time, love, and reassurance she deserves
This decision has not been made lightly, and her wellbeing is our absolute priority. We are looking for the perfect forever home where she will be loved and cared for as much as she deserves.

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
