Description
It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we need to rehome our gorgeous seal bicolour ragdoll girl, Saffy. She is 10 months old, fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and GCCF registered with full paperwork.
Saffy is an absolute sweetheart with the biggest personality. She’s confident, playful, incredibly affectionate, and completely devoted to her humans. She will follow you everywhere and wants nothing more than to be the center of your world. She’s healthy, litter trained, and has been loved and well cared for since we brought her home as a kitten at 14 weeks old. We have watched her grow from the age of 4 weeks when we first reserved her.
Unfortunately, despite our best efforts over the past seven months, Saffy has a significant personality clash with our older, quieter rescue cat. Saffy is dominant and confident, which doesn’t suit our reserved cat’s temperament. Our other cat has become increasingly stressed over the past seven months: she’s now reclusive, constantly yowling and hissing, has stopped grooming herself properly (resulting in matting all over her body), and can’t relax in her home.
We’ve tried everything but the dynamic has only gotten worse as Saffy has matured. Our vet examined both cats on 16/01/2026 and has advised that rehoming is the kindest option for both of their wellbeing. This is not Saffy’s fault - she’s just being her confident, assertive self - but that personality doesn’t work with the other quieter, more reserved temperament.
Saffy needs to be an only cat, or potentially with another confident, playful cat who can match her energy and won’t be intimidated by her. She deserves a home where her wonderful, bold personality is perfect for the situation - where she can be someone’s whole world and receive all the love and attention she craves without causing stress to another animal.
This decision has completely broken our hearts. We adore Saffy, but we can see she would thrive as someone’s beloved only cat, and our other cat desperately needs her peace back.
Rehoming fee £600 to ensure she goes to a caring, committed home. Includes all GCCF papers, vaccination records, full vet history, and our support during her transition.
We are heartbroken but committed to finding Saffy the perfect forever home where her wonderful personality can shine.
