This is Lily. She’s a just turned 6-year-old spayed Ragdoll looking for a calmer, quieter home. Our home just isn’t the right environment for her anymore. Life has changed — I now have a baby, and the busyness, noise, and constant movement are clearly too much for her. She spends most of her time on her own, hiding away or perched somewhere high.
I think she could bond with someone in a more peaceful home, but she doesn’t have the chance to settle properly here anymore. She’s nervous around children, particularly babies and toddlers, and I worry that the stress of being around my son isn’t fair on her long term. This is a hard decision and comes with a lot of sadness, but I think she would genuinely thrive somewhere calmer where she can have more one-on-one time and not feel so on edge.
Lily can be fussy with food — she goes on and off wet food, but she loves tuna and salmon liquid treats. She does need regular brushing, as is typical for her breed. She goes outside most days and I bring the cats in by 9pm. Lily never goes far and tends to come back often for a snooze. We live in a cul-de-sac, so the area is calm enough for her to safely roam.
