Description
This is Zola, a pure bred French bulldog.
Giving a completely honest description as this girl deserves the best home ā¤ļø
Itās with a really heavy heart that I am sat here writing this as she is a much loved family pet as you can see from the pictures.
We adopted Zola in December 2022 from a distant family member, she fit into our household right away. She was originally kc registered and had paperwork but they were lost in a house fire in the time before I got her, and the family never got another copy. It didnāt matter to me to get a copy hence why she doesnāt come with them.
Everyone told me, donāt get a French bulldog they are crazy, but actually she is very calm and relaxed with the normal excitement any pet would have!
She loves to play ball, she loves walks, the sea, camping, people watching out the living room window, and she loves to have a teddy bear of her own. She has a bed in the living room and the kitchen, when we are home she has run of the downstairs and when we are out the house or when itās bedtime she sleeps in the kitchen. Infact, all we have to say of an evening is āitās bedtime isnāt it?ā And she will take herself off to her bed. She has a dog flap to use whenever she likes and this would be important for her to have in her next family.
She is brilliant off lead and has amazing recall, if thereās a ball in the equation she is not bothered about any other dogs that she may come accross. When on lead she is boisterously excited to meet other dogs, and some people and dogs find that intimidating. And she isnt always over keen on big dogs.
She is food aggressive towards other dogs, but myself or my kids could go and take her food off her while eating and she would not bat an eye lid.
I donāt have another dog, but we have experienced her food aggression towards other dogs when my sister comes over with her dogs or we are all away at the caravan. I usually put her food bowl up away in the side when they visit. So for this reason she needs to be rehomed to a family where she is the only dog. But otherwise she loves the dogs she loves! My sisters labradors are her best friends.
She is fine with cats but will try to eat any kind of bird or chicken
She is fantastic with my children, they dress her up and brush her and literally hound her to death which she absolutely adores!! but I will say she needs to go to a couple or a family with children over 5.
She is spayed, health checked every 6 months, completely up to date with all vaccinations, flea and wormer.
She would come with her beds, toys, food, blankets and bowls.
